This policy explains how Pier Developments(“we”, “us”) uses personal information you send us through this website. We are based in Clevedon, North Somerset, and are the data controller for that information.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us in the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address if you add one, your town or postcode, the type of project, your preferred timing and your message. If you call or message us directly, we will have your number and whatever you tell us.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and stores nothing on your device. See our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, discuss your project, arrange a visit and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a request you have made and, if you go on to instruct us, taking steps to enter into a contract with you.

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists.

Who else handles it

• EmailJS, when the form sends directly, delivers the enquiry to our inbox on our behalf.
• WhatsApp or your own text messages, if you choose to send your enquiry that way. That message is sent by you, from your own device, under that service’s own terms.
• Our website host keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep project records for as long as we need them for the job, any follow-up and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do so, call us on 07841 716415. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
